Trawling Through The Thrift Stores with Joseph Finn

OK, look, I haven't been to a thrift store in two weeks with Christina being out of town.  So this week is going to be highlighting trailers for my absolute favorite trash movies.

Ah, Hard Ticket To Hawaii.  A movie with a radioactive snake, people blowing up a sex doll with a bazooka and quite frankly, a lot of topless women.  This movie is just plain nuts.

This movie has gotten a lot more attention since somene at Alamo Drafthouse rediscovered it and it's worth the attention.  A weirdly fun movie about a bunch of karate students who also have a New Wave band in Orlando (yes, I know Miami is in the title) it is something everyone should see for just how earnestly goofy it is.

Ah, Shoot 'Em Up.  A movie so goofy in it's Looney Tunes influences that Clive Owen chews a carrot in it.  No, really.  Worth watching for both the action and also for Paul Giamatti getting to chew the scenery at a level that Christopher Walken would be jealous over.

You absolutely do not need to see the original Prom Night  to see this bonkers sequel, Prom Night II: Hello Mary Sue.  It's such goofy '80s fun with the ghost of a '50s prom queen coming back to reclaim her...crown, maybe?  I can't express enough how fun this weird little Canadian movie is.
